Letters from Ephraim and Ebenezer Herrick Dyer and other members of the family, describing voyages to California via Panama, 1850-1858, fruit raising in the vicinity of Los Angeles, life in Alvarado, and effects of the 1906 earthquake in Oakland. Oversize folder contains letters from Ephraim Dyer and Ellen Frances (Ingalls) Dyer, 1850, 1859, 1865.
With these: a history of the Dyer family, containing genealogical information on the Dyer and Ingalls families, compiled by Ephraim Dyer in 1959.
